Job Description:

Apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.
Analyse business objectives and translate requirements to technical implementation components.
Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements.
Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features.
Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.
Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform.
Lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity.
Responsibilities
As per above role, In addition to:
Representation on change board
Conducting of reviews and challenges on project teams
Representation to aligned architecture, change and security teams
Assistance with team build out including mentoring and interviews
Requirements analysis and prioritisation of deliveries


Requirements:

As per above role, in addition to:
Good programming language experience, preferably Java or C++
Deep knowledge of enterprise build and ci/cd tools
Good understanding of Fixed Income products
Good knowledge of test automation best practices and tools

Competencies:

As per above role, in addition to:
Server side (API) automation of ION
Build and deployment experience, particularly with CI/CD
Experience in driving enterprise integration patterns
Strong experience in security
Experience in large ION server deployments
